What started out as an exploration for Tom turned out to a shared activity for us -- no competition or scoring -- just a time for us to do something together that gives both physical and mental exercise. As a person who tends to internalize things, yoga provides me a time to rid myself of some of the toxins that accumulate in my body and mind.

Through stages of my life, I've experienced different sojourns as a physically challenged person. In latter years, through introspection, goals and expectations of life changed. Yoga has provided me with the opportunity to explore new ways to enjoy daily living. Continuing to learn and practice has enhanced my mental/psychological, spiritual and physiological self. Additionally, yoga breathing, postures and thought processes have assisted in lowering my blood pressure to that of a teenager's level, increased peripheral vascular circulation, muscle strength, flexibility and inner peace.
