I have Lyme disease, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue
and Peripheral Neuropathy, among other things. Since beginning
my private yoga sessions with Vicki, I have experienced noticeable
increase in core strength, range of motion and flexibility.
Vicki targets our sessions to areas of pain and stiffness I
have at the time and helps me manage them with minimal prescription
medication.

| What
started out as an exploration for Tom turned out to a
shared activity for us -- no competition or scoring --

Through stages of my life, I've experienced
different sojourns as a physically challenged person.

just a time for us to do something together that gives
both physical and mental exercise.
As a person who tends to internalize things, yoga provides
me a time to rid myself of some of the toxins that accumulate
in my body and mind.

In latter years, through introspection,
goals and expectations of life changed.
Yoga has provided me with the opportunity
to explore new ways to enjoy daily living. Continuing
to learn and practice has enhanced my mental/psychological,
spiritual and physiological self.

Leaving the clutter behind.
One hour of time
Spent just on me,

Additionally, yoga breathing, postures
and thought processes have assisted in lowering my blood
pressure to that of a teenager's level, increased peripheral
vascular circulation, muscle strength, flexibility and
inner peace.
A skeptic initially, but now, a believer
and practitioner.

| I am a 35 year old mother of
two. My inspiration for trying yoga came from my mother,
who was practicing for many years. Through my life, she
has always been the greatest teacher of living a healthy
and balance life. As a young girl she encouraged me to
study ballet, which I still do today. Yoga has become
a natural extension of my dance practice. When I'm dancing,
as well as doing yoga, I feel strong, flexible and graceful
on the inside as well as the outside. I am balanced!

I have been practicing yoga for over ten
years and I love it! I can truly say it is something I
will be doing for the rest of my life. Yoga has taken
me to levels of flexibility I never thought possible,
and it is amazing how you can learn to focus your mind.
If you enjoy participating in sports it can help you develop
more balance and stamina along with dedicated focus. It
can be as easy or hard as you make it. I love the Vinyasa
class and if anyone wants a challenge I suggest you join
us!
